After the ban of Zinc Pyrithione in 2022, the possibilities to fight dandruff became more limited with Piroctone Olamine and Salicylic Acid as remaining actives.

Therefor, Tri-K has launched Galguard LipoG. A modern preservative, from amino-acid based green technology.
In this process, Glycines are produced using the ICIS-award winning smart catalysis process:

With activity of limiting proliferation Malassezia furfur and Malassezia restricta, the fungi responsible for dandruff and inhibiting the enzyme 5-α-reductase it offers:
